Kronos: Helpful Tips for Phase II Implementation

Kronos Time and Attendance

Phase II will launch on November 16! All regular full- and part-time employees who were not part of the Kronos Phase I implementation will begin using the new time and attendance system on Saturday, November 16.

Getting Ready

  1. Make sure you’ve completed your training module. All employees who are going live with Kronos in Phase II should complete their training module by Friday, November 15. You can access the online training modules on the Time and Attendance website. Continue reading

This Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, the local American Legion will sponsor a Veterans Day Ceremony in the auditorium at COB McIntire. Everyone is invited to join the celebration at 11 a.m.; refreshments will follow in the lobby. Continue reading

Kronos Implementation, Phase II: Please Complete Training by Nov. 15

Kronos Time and Attendance

Phase I of Kronos, our new time and attendance system, launched on October 19 for Broadus Wood Elementary School, Sutherland Middle School, Building Services, Fiscal Services, the Department of Technology, the Superintendent’s Office, and certain central office departments. Phase II, including all other ACPS schools and departments, will launch on Saturday, November 16.

All employees who will begin using the Kronos system in Phase II should complete the appropriate training module by Friday, November 15. You can access the training modules for exempt and non-exempt employees and teachers through our Time and Attendance web page. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards has kicked off its annual search for America’s top youth volunteers. This unique youth recognition program, founded 25 years ago by Prudential Financial in partnership with National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), honors middle level and high school students for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Policy Updates

Albemarle County Public Schools maintains over 600 policies. Our policies are locally developed through our work with the Virginia School Boards Association and they are tied to Virginia Code. Several are locally developed. Our policies translate our core values of excellence, young people, community, and respect into the backbone of our daily operations and aspirations for students.
