Teacher Transfer Requests for 2016-17: Submit Your Request by April 1

TransferTeacher Transfer Requests are now open to all tenured teachers desiring new assignments for the upcoming school year. Teachers who are on a Performance Improvement Plan or who will be on an active improvement plan for the upcoming school year are not eligible to apply for a transfer. NEA Learning & Leadership Grants: Applications Accepted Anytime

NEA Foundation LogoThe National Education Association (NEA) Foundation is inviting applications for its Learning and Leadership Grants program. The program provides support to public school teachers, counselors, and education support professionals* toward participation in high-quality professional development experiences. The grant amount is $2,000 for individuals, and applicants must be current NEA members. Greening STEM Integration Grant – Apply by April 5

NEEF LogoThe National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), with major funding support from the Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas (MCFA), is offering funding for teachers, after-school programs, and nature organizations for projects that support the integration of Greening STEM into current or new programming or curriculum. Grants range from $500 to $1,000 and may be applied to program delivery costs, including curriculum development, field trips, program supplies, transportation, professional development, and more.
