Blackboard Learn Resources for 2018-19

BlackboardBlackboard Learn (Bb Learn) is now set up and ready for the 2018-19 school year. Teachers interested in using Blackboard this school year will need to activate classes using the Blackboard Class Request Form (PDF version or MS Word version). The form contains important information about how to request classes and when to select a master class. You also can view a sample form to assist you as you complete the form for your classes.

In addition to the Blackboard Class Request form, you can find a number of other helpful documents on the Learning Management System (LMS) Support Site. These include our Annual Blackboard Management Plan, which contains important information about using Blackboard this year, as well as links to directions on how to move content from last year’s classes to your newly created classes. You’ll also find information about showing or hiding last year’s classes.

If you have questions about how to set up your classes, move content between classes, or fill out the Blackboard Class Request Form, please reach out to your school’s assigned Learning Technology Integrator.

Bb Learn is our division’s learning management system and is an essential digital learning tool for staff and students. Teachers use Bb Learn for communicating with students and parents; accessing our division’s digital curriculum; posting and organizing digital content; managing a digital workflow in their classrooms, including posting assignments and providing feedback in a paperless environment; and delivering and providing feedback on assessments.
