Outside of our Open Enrollment communications, Human Resources has some important information to share with you about your next paycheck (coming one day early), the deadline for final timecard approval on November 7 (now 11 a.m.), and the results of our recent compensation study.

Nov. 11 Bank Holiday & Nov. 7 Timecard Approval

Friday, November 11, is Veterans Day and a bank holiday. As a result, Payroll will issue paychecks on Thursday, November 10.

In order for Payroll to process the data in time to issue paychecks on November 10, we must move up the deadline for timecard approval on November 7 by two hours, from 1 p.m. to 11 a.m. Supervisors who approve timecards for other employees should complete timecard approval in Kronos by 11 a.m. on November 7.

Your school/department timekeepers and supervisors will communicate and adjust your internal deadlines as needed for employees and supervisors to review and approve their timecards. We recommend that employees and timekeepers begin their normal timecard review processes this week on Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4.

Note: Monday, November 7, is also Making Connections, so please be sure to plan your schedule for approving your own timecard, as well as the timecards of any employees you supervise.

Compensation Study

In light of the compensation decisions recently approved by our school board, we want to ensure that all employees have easy access to the findings of the FY22 Total Compensation Study as well as the recommendations Human Resources shared with the board during their October 27 meeting.

Human Resources is actively working to ensure every eligible employee is assigned the appropriate salary placement for Phase One pay increases. Employees who are impacted by a change will be notified by the end of November. Phase One increases will go into effect on December 17, 2022, and will first be seen in paychecks on January 6, 2023.

Please note: Human Resources is unable to share individual salary placement information prior to sending employee notices.
