The VDOE is offering two safety webinars on August 31 at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. As another option, ACPS Lead Coach Katina Dudley will be offering a safety training opportunity on September 3 during division PLC. Summer Professional Development Sessions Are Ready!

This summer, our required professional development (PD) sessions are asynchronous and online. Sessions are housed in Schoology and can be accessed starting Wednesday, July 15. You can click here to sign in to Schoology or click on the Schoology icon on the ACPS Info for Staff page. You will use your ACPS username and password to sign in. (Note: If you have trouble accessing an item in Schoology, consider trying a different browser.)

You will receive 6 recertification points for completing the modules. Documentation of your participation will be done through Schoology and the completion of exit tickets within the sessions. Modules are open for completion from July 15 to August 31. Continue reading

Contracts for licensed teachers and administrators will be sent to your ACPS work email address. They will be sent from “ACPS Contracts” (acpscontracts@albemarle.org) on Friday, June 12, after the School Board approves reappointments Thursday evening. Continue reading

These modifications address the hands-on aspect of CPR for renewal and initial licensure and the status of provisional licenses and renewable licenses that expire June 30, 2020.
