Dear Colleagues:

After several months in development, we are delighted to invite you to view a draft of our new Albemarle County Public Schools Strategic Plan!

Our strategic plan is how we define the direction that ACPS will take over the next several years. It includes our vision and mission for the school division, as well as our hopes for all of our students and how we will allocate resources to make those a reality.

Purple Up! For Military Kids is a day set aside for everyone around the nation to show their support for military connected students. The Virginia Department of Education encourages school communities across the state, including teachers, principals, students, parents, bus drivers, etc., to wear purple on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, to show support for our military students and appreciation for their strength and sacrifices. School Board Will Hold Public Hearing on 2021-22 Budget on March 4; Division Proposes Increase in Teacher Raises

The School Board will hold a public hearing next Thursday, March 4, on the school division’s proposed funding request for next school year. The hearing will be accessible to the public via live stream beginning at 6:30 p.m. Those wishing to speak at the hearing can register online from 9 a.m. on Monday until 12 noon on the day of the hearing.
