The Bama Works Fund, a grant created by the Dave Matthews Band to support community initiatives in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area, is currently accepting applications. There are two deadlines: February 1 (decision in mid-June) and August 1 (decision in mid-December). The award can be up to $10,000, which could help make your educational ideas a reality!

You Can Approve This Week’s Timecard Today
Before you head out for the winter break, please take a moment to review your timecard for this week (December 14-20) and address any corrections that are needed with your supervisor. Before you leave today, the Kronos team recommends that you go ahead and approve your timecard for this week, since you’ll be on holiday on Monday.
Are Your Students Having Trouble Connecting to the Internet?
The Department of Technology needed to perform an update to our internet filter this week. If after the update students are unable to connect to the internet, please have them restart their laptop (rather than selecting “shut down” or “log off”). Also, please remind all students to restart their computer on a regular basis, as this keeps the computer healthy and running in the most efficient way. Continue reading
