Product Team Interest Form: Respond by Nov. 15

ACPS Educators: The Department of Instruction and Content Advisory Teams have identified projects that the division will develop in order to advance our curriculum, assessment and instruction in alignment with the Strategic Plan. The range of projects is diverse, from drafting curriculum frameworks to developing assessments to vetting potential curricular resources.

Illuminate Data Entry for the First Quarter of 2021-22

Elementary Teachers: Some questions have arisen regarding what specific data should be entered into Illuminate for the first quarter. The Illuminate Requirements document highlights by grade level which assessments are required to be entered. We are requesting that all data be entered no later than Friday, November 12.

Open Enrollment Open Now Through Nov. 12!

Attention All Employees! Your annual benefits Open Enrollment window is open now through November 12. Open Enrollment is your ONE time of year to make any changes you wish to your current medical or dental elections. You can add/drop/change a plan or add/drop dependents. It’s also the one time of year when you can enroll in a medical or dependent care FSA (Flexible Spending Account). Plus, it’s always a good idea to log in to your personal Open Enrollment site annually to verify your plan elections and confirm other information about yourself and your covered dependents. COVID-19 Updates: Testing, Vaccinations & Boosters

UPDATE: Effective February 3, 2022, everything you need to know about COVID-19 testing for employees is now on our website at www.k12albemarle.org/CovidTesting.

As weather begins to get colder and more inclement, and as daylight hours become more limited, we are adjusting the locations and schedules of our COVID-19 testing sites, effective Friday, October 29, 2021. In addition to the revised testing schedule, this update includes information about testing during inclement weather, testing for symptomatic employees, testing expectations when school is not in session, and COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots.
