ClassLink: Your New Single Sign-On Platform
In collaboration with the Department of Instruction, the Technology Department is happy to share that we have implemented ClassLink, a single sign-on platform that will allow you and your students to use one username and password to access approved ACPS instructional applications.
How do I get started?
Introduction to ClassLink
The Department of Technology has partnered with the Department of Instruction to acquire a single sign-on (SSO) system called ClassLink. This system will allow teachers and students to use their ACPS username and password to log in to ClassLink LaunchPad, where they will be able to access all approved teaching and learning tools. Change Your Password Before Oct. 13
The Department of Technology takes our network security very seriously. This upcoming school year, we will require all staff and secondary students to change their ACPS password before October 13, 2023, and the Department of Technology will reset passwords for all elementary students on August 23, 2023. Reminder: Schedule Your Laptop Health Checkup by June 12
Thank you to all employees who have taken the steps to complete a health checkup for your laptop! As we shared in the Compass on April 21, the Department of Technology is performing division-wide health checkups on all staff laptops to ensure that everyone has a safe, reliable laptop that is ready for next school year. If you haven’t yet scheduled your laptop checkup, please reach out to your school or department’s Technology Support Specialist (TSS) by June 12.
Before your appointment, you’ll need to back up the files on your laptop. Check out these helpful directions. If you need assistance backing up your files, contact your school or department’s Learning Technology Integrator (LTI).
Technology Device Collection Plans
All students will turn in their school laptops, chargers and iPads before June 9, 2023. This timeline will allow us to update those devices in preparation for next school year. Students who are attending summer school will check out loaner devices to use for summer learning. Please reach out to your school’s assigned Technology staff with any questions.
